About the role
At HollrAI, we're building AI voice agents that automate customer conversations across sales, support, operations, and recruitment. As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you'll be the bridge between our product and our customers.
You'll work closely with the founders, join customer technical meetings, and take ownership of deploying AI agents for real businesses. This is a high ownership role where you'll build integrations, design prompts, launch agents, and continuously improve them using live call data.
What you'll do
- Own customer deployments after onboarding, from understanding their workflow to launching their first AI calling agent
- Build integrations with CRMs and third-party platforms using Node.js, REST APIs, and webhooks
- Design prompts and conversation flows that help AI agents achieve customer-specific goals
- Join technical meetings with customers alongside the founders
- Test, debug, and launch production-ready voice agents
- Monitor live customer calls, identify improvement areas, and iterate on agent behavior
- Work directly with customers on revisions, feature requests, and deployment updates
What we're looking for
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript
- Comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, and external integrations
- Ability to write effective prompts and design conversational AI workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Self-driven and excited to work in a fast-moving early-stage startup
Nice to have
- Experience building LLM or AI applications
- Familiarity with voice AI or conversational agents
- Previous internship or personal projects involving APIs or automation
